Waste Formula

WASTE  =  CASH LOST & THROWN AWAY  =  TIME WASTED & LOST FOREVER

 YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS

YOU:

A £20 a month saving does not sound much and many people just dismiss it.Think of this. We are told the average person in the UK earns a little over £8 an hour.

Consider – £8 for ease of calculation.

£20 a month = £240 a year but this is out of net income and if you add back items like tax, national insurance and pension contributions then it could be nearer £300.

£300 divided by 8 = 37.5 which is 37.5 hours using the formula Waste = Cash = Time.

So it can be seen that the average person will work for a week each year just to pay for the savings ignored.

A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT.

A BUSINESS:

A  £1000 a year saving does not sound a lot to many businesses which are under time constraints and very busy.

Take a contract of £10,000 with a 10% profit margin = £1000.

Now think back to what effort had to be made to generate that NET profit. If it took say a couple of weeks from first speaking to the client, then a week to do the work and a further two weeks to get paid.

THEN ONE CONTRACT A YEAR WILL HAVE BEEN A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT
